Auguste Comte district’s Association set up on 1986, groups to day about 90 entrants, situated in an area between Place Bellecour and Carnot, Rhône and Saône.
Every year (18th publishing in 2007) the first thursday of October, the Association organizes “the red carpet”.During this event shopkeepers receive their customers, on invitation, in their shop, opened at this occasion late in the night.
A red carpet is unrolled on Auguste Comte’s street and on adjoining one, because for occasion it’s pedestrian and cars’traffic is supressed.A new theme is choiced every year. This year it was a retrospective organized for hundred years of Lyonnais painter’s birth: Jean Couty.
The association publishes also a map, regularly renewed, delivered in the hostels and turism’s office.
Founding of a free magazine delivered outside of Lyon, in Paris and abroad.
